Time To Time Warranty

Every timepiece sold by Time To Time Inc. is covered by a one-year mechanical warranty against manufacturing and movement defects, effective from the date of delivery. This warranty is our commitment that the watch you receive functions correctly and reliably.

What Is Covered

  • Mechanical movement failure not caused by damage, water intrusion, magnetization from external sources, or unauthorized service.
  • Timekeeping accuracy outside the manufacturer's original tolerances when the watch is used under normal conditions.
  • Rotor or automatic winding system failure.
  • Crown, stem, or winding-mechanism failure not caused by physical damage.

Warranty service is performed at no charge to you: we cover labor, parts, and return shipping (fully insured) for any qualifying warranty repair during the one-year period.

What Is Not Covered

  • Damage from impact, drops, extreme temperature, or exposure to chemicals.
  • Water damage (regardless of the watch's rated water resistance — over time seals degrade, and pressure testing is your responsibility if you intend to swim or dive).
  • Cosmetic wear: scratches, dings, or dial/hand aging.
  • Bracelet stretch or link wear from normal use.
  • Damage from unauthorized service or opening of the caseback.
  • Consequential losses (e.g., loss of use, missed appointments) — warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the timepiece.

Manufacturer's Warranty

Where a piece is sold with a valid, unexpired manufacturer's warranty card (typically a factory-fresh Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, or similar within its original warranty window), Time To Time's warranty runs concurrent with the manufacturer's warranty. You retain full rights to service at any manufacturer-authorized service center.

How to Request Warranty Service

  1. Email sales@timetotimeinc.com with your name, purchase date, and a description of the issue.
  2. We will provide a fully-insured FedEx label to send the watch to our workshop for inspection.
  3. If the issue is covered under warranty, we service and return the watch at no charge, typically within 2–4 weeks.
  4. If the issue falls outside warranty coverage, we will provide a detailed quote before performing any work. You may decline and we will return the watch at cost.

Servicing Recommendations

Vintage and modern mechanical watches benefit from a full service every 5–7 years to preserve accuracy and prevent long-term wear. Whether the piece is under warranty or not, we're glad to advise on when service makes sense for your specific piece.
